I am Vijay. I was born and raised in the Nilgiris — in the same
mountains that produce everything you order from us.
In 2012, my colleagues kept asking the same question:
"Vijay, can you get me real Ooty products? Not the fake ones
sold in cities. The actual ones."
That question became a mission.
I built OotyMade from scratch — no agency, no investors,
no shortcuts. Just genuine products, hard lessons, and an
absolute refusal to compromise on what authentic means.
Today: 9 years. 3 lakh+ orders. DPIIT Startup India recognized.
India's first dedicated online store for authentic Nilgiris products.
The mountains have been here for millions of years.
We are simply the bridge between what the Nilgiris makes
and the people who deserve to experience it.
